This Week's Software Tips

Lynn AllenVideo Tip: Sequentially Number AutoCAD Text Objects

Control Polyline Corners
This AutoCAD tip comes from Hobart Hesse. "Everyone uses the polyline LT Enable and Disable settings for even spaces for dashes in polylines, but did you know that an open dashed polyline can be controlled with another factor?" View the complete tip and post your feedback.

Inventor Tip: Add a Flange to the End of a Contour Roll
Charles Parnell contributed this tip for Inventor users. "Some time ago I needed to create a flange on the end of a contour roll and discovered that sheet metal tools didn't offer a way to do this." View the complete tip and post your feedback.

Revit Tip: Working with Masses in Plan View
Frequent tipster Andria Lynch offers this Revit tip for controlling your in-place mass in plan view. "If In-Place Massing is in your toolbox and a top profile that matches the bottom profile is what you need, use the Lock Profile tool on the Form Element tab to lock them together!" View the complete tip and post your feedback.
