VectorWorks 2008 Makes Its Way Across Europe

26 Oct, 2007

Nemetschek distributors release 12 versions of VectorWorks 2008, each tailored to a specific market.

Nemetschek North America announced that a number of its major European distributors have released localized versions of the newest VectorWorks 2008 family of design software.

The European distributors reportedly tailored VectorWorks 2008 products to meet the specific needs of their local marketplaces. Versions are now available in Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, and Switzerland. English-language versions of the 2008 product line were released in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and other international markets on September 13.

"We have all worked hard during the 2008 development cycle to minimize the time between the English-language release and the localized releases," said Sean Flaherty, CEO of Nemetschek North America. "The 2008 versions offer dramatic improvements in each product of our line. The simplified interface, new tools and streamlined workflows, collaboration and CAD management capabilities, and enhanced 2D and 3D presentation features make this our most substantial upgrade ever."
