BricsCAD Product Review - Stolberg

“We have been using AutoCAD for about 20 years and we got tired of paying that much for a CAD program. We have started to use BricsCAD since 2012 and I don’t see what AutoCAD could do better that BricsCAD can’t do.”

Doug Lawrence
Project manager – Stolberg Engineering Ltd.

“BricsCAD keeps on providing all the features that we need.”

All the designers, engineers and drafting technicians use BricsCAD here. This includes civil and structural engineers, mechanical and electrical designers and estimators. I like the technical support and that someone answers the phone and reply to email when needed. I like the low cost of BricsCAD compare to AutoCAD of course but as far as feature, I don’t see what AutoCAD could do a better way than BricsCAD. We have the Platinum version and we have not started yet using it at its best and we know that this version is superior to AutoCAD alone for mechanical design.

BricsCAD keep on providing all the features that we need and we upgrade every year being on subscription for all licenses. We noticed that BricsCAD do its best to provide equivalent feature as any new AutoCAD feature with a normal delay.
