Autodesk Forge: Company Shutdown for One Week

As part of the company’s on-going commitment to manage our spending through the business model transition, Autodesk will once again have a company shutdown this week. Autodesk had a similar shutdown period last year.

There are two benefits we derive from a shutdown:

  • A key benefit is that almost everyone is off at the same time, which makes it easier for us to disconnect from email and enjoy vacation time.
  • The shutdown reduces expenses since employee pay during the period is paid from vacation accruals instead of from regular salary funding.

We will be returning to work on Monday, July 10. For those of you who are working with Autodesk Forge, we will handle your inquiries upon our return.

Relaxation is alive in the lab.
